‘Nashville Songwriter’ Book by Jake Brown

I recently had the opportunity to be involved in the process of producing web content for the promotion the of the book ‘Nashville Songwriter’ by music biographer Jake Brown. I filmed a handful of songwriters featured in the book being interviewed by Jake and their performances of the songs discussed in the interviews. I was a great privilege to be able meet the songwriters (Dallas Davidson, Craig Wiseman, Sonny Curtis, Lee Thomas Miller, Ashley Gorley, Rivers Rutherford) and hear their stories behind some of country music’s greatest hits. Soon after the videos were filmed and edited, I photographed the songwriters and their performances at the ‘Nashville Songwriter’ book release party that was held at the downtown Nashville venue 3rd & Lindsley. The party was a great success and the performances were incredible!
I highly recommend this book, and I invite you to watch some of the videos and articles that have been published online by Country Weekly and a handful of other publications. You’re in for treat!

Did you know that Sonny Curtis is from West Texas? He grew up near Meadow, just south of Lubbock.
Yes Chris! I talked to him a little and we talked about West Texas, it was really cool. He’s seems like a great guy from the few minutes I spent with him. Very classy and so talented.
