Springtime in the South.

I’ve been all over the Southeast these past few months and I have some photos to share! I took a new job in January as a composite photographer that allowed me to travel to university campuses in Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio and a few weekends ago a I photographed a wedding in the North Georgia mountains. I saw some amazing sights and I wish I would have had more time to stop and stay a while! I was on a time crunch traveling from one city to another so I missed a lot of photo opportunities, but on the other hand I took a lot of opportunities as well. In the month of April I spent 15 nights in hotel rooms! I loved it. Traveling is one of my greatest passions and the fact that I get paid to travel and take pictures blows my mind because it doesn’t feel like work to me. It’s so exciting to go somewhere new and see places that local people overlook everyday and they miss the beauty in the broken and worn down things. When I can find something that most people would find boring and worthless and make it into something interesting and beautiful with my camera then I’ve done what I’ve set out to do. My heart swells knowing that I’ve created something that speaks to people and inspires them look at things differently. Gosh I love what I do! Alright that’s enough, here are some photos from the last 3 months!
